New Car
Last night when I got home from work, there was a surprise parked in my usual spot...a Lexus? No. A Mercedes? No. A BMW? Not even close... A 1979 TOYOTA CAROLLA courtesy of my husband! Don't be jealous. I will let you go for a skip around the block if you must. Isn't she a beauty?

Happy Birthday Braxton!

My nephew Braxton turned 5 today! I haven't seen him since August and I'm not sure when I will see him again. He will be starting kindergarten this year. I bet he's grown so much. I wish I could be with him today. I miss him and his brother Austin so much. Hope he has a super fun party! We love you little man!

Easter
Well, Easter weekend was cold and rainy this year...I'm sure you would all agree. But all in all, it was still wonderful. I love spending time with our families. It's so hard being far away from everyone, but it makes the time together even better.
I missed my niece Cambree's easter egg hunt at the Delta park, but according to my sister...she was more interested in watching the other children run around like crazy chickens than collecting the colorful eggs. She left with 1 egg and 4 smarties. She's only one...but I expect some fight in her next year.

We took Cooper (Cole's little brother) to the Lyndal easter egg hunt this year and watched him battle it out with the other cranky 3 year olds. He's a quick little guy and got lots of treats. He found a lucky egg and won a prize...an easter bucket with more treats and toys. Candy, candy candy!

Holly, Dave, Derek, & Christy couldn't make it this year...so we missed them dearly, but the rest of us stayed up late playing games and visiting. Game time is always a favorite at my house.
My mom made Cambree's Easter dress. She looked so dang cute! I had to take a few pictures...of course. So here are some pics of the family... enjoy!

Happy Birthday Cambree!
My niece Cambree turned 1 today! Yahoo! I can't believe it's been a whole year. It could have been last week when I was holding her at the hospital...only a few minutes old. It's amazing how she's grown. I love that little miss so much! She's eating a oatmeal cream pie cookie in the pic above...or at least playing with one! Messy! Can't wait to watch her learn and grow even more!

Saturday
My whole family went to the Hogle Zoo today to celebrate Cambree's upcoming birthday, minus me...and Cole of course. Like he would leave his poor saddened wife and go have fun without her. Heehe! My nasty allergies kept me from even thinking of the zoo or thinking at all for that matter. I had been waiting all month long for this event. Most my family live up north and I hardly get to see them. Especially Derek & Kristy. Plus my Dad had the day off which is a rareness. He's a slave at work I swear and misses out on so much...but not this trip. I was heartbroken to miss out on such an occasion...but not all fun was lost!
Cody, Marci and Savanah stopped to visit on thier way through Cedar and took us out to lunch. I loaded up on nasal spray...and off to La Fiesta we went. I could hardly taste my food, but the company was great! We don't get to see those busy kids very often... so it was nice to spend some time together. We went out for ice cream at Maggie Moos afterwards and stood in line for days! But it was yum and worth it. What a good day!
I'm feeling much better now...I'm sure you all were wondering!

Science Fair
Cole had to help judge a science fair at SUU for one of his classes today. My cousin McKenzie was there with her project. We are so proud of her! She qualified at her school's science fair earlier this year and was chosen to come compete against kids her age from all over Utah. She did a study on Beta fish and the different reactions they have to light and sound. What a smart girl! It was so nice to see her and be part of this experience. We couldn't stay for judging, but I'm sure she did great!Tuesday, March 24, 2009
March for Babies
It's America's favorite walking event! When you walk, you give hope to the families of babies born too soon or sick. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten our babies. People have been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $1.8 billion to benefit all babies. We're walking this year with our niece and Team Savanah Lili on May 16th in Provo Canyon. If you would like to donate to the cause and help us reach our goal, just click the link below!
